Tom Rizzo joined the firm as an associate in 2024, focusing on civil litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of disputes, including business, construction, condominium, real estate, and employment law. His practice frequently involves claims of breach of contract, negligence, fraud, and violations of the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act.Before joining the firm, Tom served as a Massachusetts Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Bureau’s Gaming Enforcement Division. In this role, he prosecuted gaming-related offenses under M.G.L. c. 23k, as well as public order offenses and crimes against individuals and property at Encore Boston Harbor.Tom earned his law degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where he was a member of the law review. During law school, he gained valuable experience as a law clerk at a South Shore firm and as a legal intern at Rockland Trust Company. As a clerk, he drafted complaints and motions across multiple practice areas, including debt collection, contract, education, criminal, and family law. At Rockland Trust Company, he worked closely with in-house counsel, conducting research on banking and consumer laws to ensure regulatory compliance.
