- Represented U.S. value-add specialty equipment distributor in $50,000,000 complex cross-border part sale part joint-venture transaction.
- Represented purchaser in acquisition of $5 million regional plumbing contractor business.
- Company counsel to national medical imaging and diagnostic facility business in $10.5 million private placement by a national investment bank.
- Implemented transfers to younger generation through use of grantor retained annuity trusts and installments sales to intentionally income tax defective grantor trusts as well as transfers using family limited partnerships and family limited liability companies.
- Represented executors and personal representatives in all aspects of Massachusetts and Florida estate administrations, in the preparation of applications for appointment, inventories, accountings, federal and state estate tax returns, and allocations of estate assets among beneficiaries.

- Successfully defended age discrimination claim and race-based claim on behalf of employer using a creative defense not yet recognized by the SJC.
- Successfully defended pregnancy/disability claim on behalf of employer based on defense that employee would have been terminated despite informing the employer that she was pregnant and required a leave of absence.
- Successfully defended business owner charged with sexual harassment and adverse personnel action arising from refusal to accede to the business owner’s sexual demands.
- Successfully represented insurance agency in enforcing a non-competition/non-solicitation agreement against a former employee salesperson whom had access to the agency’s customer list.
- Represented a Buyer in a $9 million acquisition of a shopping plaza in Massachusetts.
- Represented a Buyer of a 300 Unit Apartment complex in Kentucky. Work included negotiation of joint venture agreement with an international investment fund and negotiation of all loan documents.
- Ongoing counsel to a local manufacturing group reorganizing operations, including a 140,000 square foot warehouse lease in Ohio, sale of its headquarters building with new leased headquarters space in Massachusetts

- Represented a multi-national corporation in the acquisition of a 50,000 square foot building and permitting of property for hazardous materials handling.
- Represented local importer in acquisition of land and subsequent $6.75 million construction loan for construction of a new warehouse facility.
- Real Estate counsel to local development company. Wrote title to and negotiated $15 million loan facility with equity investment component for construction of workforce housing project in Worcester.
